Joe Manganiello, an avid football and Pittsburgh Steelers fan, makes no secret about his devotion to the sport of football – so it should be no surprise that the actor is in Indianapolis this weekend for Super Bowl in XLVI. Last night, he attended the GQ, Lacoste And Patron Tequila Celebrate The Super Bowl party in Indianapolis at The Stutz Building He also tweeted: “Werewolf in Indianapolis.”
Check out some more photos of Joe at the event and also remember you can watch Joe play in the DirectTV Celebrity Beach Bowl which will air today, Feb. 4, at 2 p.m. EST. Thanks to ImHereForSookie for the pics
Adam Vary & Carrie Preston (PC: Entertainment Weekly)
Carrie Preston was interviewed by Adam Vary about her movie about friendship called “That’s What She Said.” The movie was featured at the Sundance Film Festival last week. She also talks about True Blood and The Good Wife in the second video. (Check out her cute hat in the videos!)
From EW.com:
Most fans of Carrie Preston know her best as the high-strung Arlene on HBO’s True Blood, or her recurring role as the brilliantly ditzy lawyer Elsbeth on CBS’ The Good Wife. But she was at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival for her work behind the camera, as the director of the distaff sex comedy That’s What She Said. It isn’t her directorial debut — that was the 2005 indie 29th and Gay — but it is her first time at Sundance as a filmmaker. So to commemorate the occasion, we took to the skies, riding a gondola at the Canyons Resort high above Park City, Utah. As I struggled to overcome my fear of heights, Preston gamely talked about her film, her hilariously harrowing trip to the annual Sundance C directors brunch, and what to expect from both True Blood‘s Arlene (more Scott Foley!) and The Good Wife‘s Elsbeth (is Will’s grand jury case over?).

A couple of the True Blood stars were in Park City, Utah, yesterday to attend the Sundance Film Festival. The movie Carrie Preston directed, That’s What She Said, was chosen and shown yesterday at the Festival. She also attended day 1 of the T-Mobile Google Music Village at The Lift .
Ryan Kwanten was also in town and took up day 1 of Oakley Learn to Ride Fueled by Muscle Milk and Lounge.
We’ve got even more Golden Globes After Party Red Carpet chat from some True Blood stars. Janina Gavankar posted this video by MTV on her blog that features her, Ryan Kwanten, Carrie Preston and Joe Manganiello. Thanks Janina and MTV!
Unfortunately for all of us “True Blood” fans, we still have quite a wait for the premiere of season five. And while the waiting does indeed suck, MTV News was lucky enough to attend HBO’s fancy Golden Globes party on Sunday where we encountered not one but four excellent cast members—Ryan Kwanten, Janina Gavankar, Carrie Preston and Joe Manganiello—who gave us a little preview of what’s in store for their characters.
“Jason is hanging onto every shred of humanity as it is, and he was lucky to survive last season. He was on the brink of death several times,” Ryan said of Jason Stackhouse’s failed werepanther transformation. “This season he’s finally becoming a man, I think. He’s got responsibility in his life. He’s in a position of authority too because Andy is not doing too well with being a sheriff.”
No Anna, no Stephen :( no Award for Evan Rachel, no Globe for Fassbender *sigh* But not all was lost, as we were able to see a lot of True Blood guys enjoying the HBO’s Official After Party for the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards, at The Beverly Hilton hotel, and oh boy, they looked great.
Since True Blood wasn’t nominated this year, there are not many stars at the 2012 Golden Globes. But the cameras spotted Ryan Kwanten at the event, and of course Evan Rachel Wood who is nominated for her role in Mildred Pierce.
We’ll update our site as soon as more pictures roll in, so keep checking back!
