Brit Morgan cast as Debbie Pelt
Finally the role of Debbie Pelt, Alcide’s crazy-ass ex girlfriend has been cast. As usual, Ausiello got the scoop:
True Blood has found its next bat-bleep-crazy villainess.
After an exhaustive and months-long search, sources confirm that actress Brit Morgan — best known from ABC Family’s short-lived drama The Middleman — has scored the pivotal role of Debbie Pelt, the psycho ex girlfriend of werewolf Alcide (Joe Manganiello).
Last month, exec producer Alan Ball told me that the juicy part — already a major component of the show’s upcoming third season — was being beefed up. “She’s going to be in more episodes,” he said, “so maybe that will have an impact on [what actress] we can get for her, which is a big question right now.”
With that question now answered, all of Season 3’s major roles have been cast.
What do y’all think about this casting? Does she look nuts enough to be Debbie Pelt?

I think you’re right. They’ll probably need to skank her up a bit as well. LOL, not really sure how you do that to someone. I wonder if they’ll dye her hair. Didn’t book Debbie have dark hair?
Yes she had a short bob with bangs (I think) and I also think it was black or a dark brown….something like that!
I’ve never seen her in anything before. I can’t wait to see how much we’ll hate her!
Oh…. and we’re gonna hate her. She’s scares me, just like Lorena scared me at one time. AB made Lorena a great character, I can’t wait until we see what he does with Debbie Pelt….I think.

Well that outfit is pretty skanky but she needs uber bitch black hair. I also wanted Faruzia Balk, but maybe she’s getting a bit old now for the role.
I haven’t seen this woman act in any movie or TV show, so I’ll just wait and see how she portrays Debbie. I thought the casting people would have picked Fairuza Balk.
