Swedish online publication Onyanserat published today an interview with Alexander and our friends at alexskarsgard.net already have the translation. So enjoy!
From a freezing cold Stockholm to a burning hot Los Angeles. “Onyanserat” give you a little chat with Alexander Skarsgård.
How are you?
-I’m fine, thank you.
What is a typical day in your life like?
-I get up, drink my tea, read “DN” on the net, go to work, come home, have dinner and go over next day scenes
What are you doing this spring?
-Shooting season 3 of True Blood.
I ran into an American exchange student a few months ago and he told me he had two wishes in his life. One was that he would find his dream woman and the other was that Eric the Viking King would get his own series. Would you consider doing a spin-off if it was offered to you?
-I think Eric the Viking King would be a brilliant sitcom. Probably set in a high school environment. Kind of like an updated version of Fresh Prince.
What part has meant the most for you, except the obvious one as Survivor Micke in the Dog Trick?
-The part of Brad Colbert in Generation Kill probably is second on that list after Survivor Micke.
Do you get a lot of offers from Sweden?
-No, not really.
What is the main difference between Swedish and American movie sets?
-The hierarchy is more evident in the USA.
A couple of fast ones:
Movie: A Prophet
Actor: Jeff Bridges did deserve winning that Oscar this year.
Director: Would love to work with the Cohen brothers
Line: They pissed on my fuckin rug ( The Big Lebowski)
Tagline: When you deal a fast shuffle…Love is in the cards. (The Lady Eve)
Tv: The Colbert Report
TV host: Bill Moyers
For a 10 million paycheck you would do the part of? Myself.
Most underrated actor of all times? Woody Harrelson.
Thank you Alex for taking time.
-Don’t mention it!
Is it ok if I email you some crazy ideas for Dog Trick – the sequel?
-DO IT!!!

He mentioned the Dude’s rug, the Cohens and Colbert, good job Alex.
Is there a TV host – Bill Moyers or should that have been Bill Maher?? Maybe my wrong!!
OK, although I’m a team Bellefleur girl, I’m going to up my dues in the Team AS, simply because AS is a Lebowski fan. (Hey, I’m a Lebowski, you’re a Lebowski…. )
Bill Moyers is a journalist and was White House Press Secretary awhile ago. Not sure I’d describe him as a talk show host, but he’s certainly hosted tv shows and is a respected newsman.
Also, the dude abides.
I love Big Lebowski too
and I think Alex would do great in a Cohen brothers production. Completely his style.
