Asked about what other gay characters we will be meeting at season3, he says:
“We’ll be meeting the vampire king of Mississippi and his long, long-term companion — and by long-term I mean really long-term — Talbot. I think Lafayette may meet a love interest, and certainly Pam, who works with Eric, she’s certainly got a lesbian vibe — I don’t know that that’s all she is, but she certainly does seem to appreciate the women.”
About the chance that Queen Sophie Ann may fall for Sookie too, Allan responds:
” I think Sophie-Anne is definitely interested in Sookie; I don’t believe it’s for sexual or romantic reasons but she is definitely interested in Sookie and whatever it is about Sookie that is special beyond the realm of what is human, and that’s something that we definitely will learn more about in the upcoming season.”
And about who will die in Season 3, will this follow the books storyline?
“I’m a little leery to answer these questions because if I say yes it just gives it away. For people who read the books, some things will not come as a surprise. But for people who don’t read the books, it will be a surprise.”

EVEN WHEN ALAN BALL FOLLOWS THE BOOK IT STILL IS A SUPRISE TO THOSE WHO READ THE BOOK!!
I Dont mind about spoilers I want to hear about what’s up for next year!
THANK GOD he’s following the books
The only things worth keeping from the book are the werewolves, that hideous skank Debbie Pelt and Lorena getting staked. The rest can be binned as its the worst book in the entire series. I even liked Book 4 more and thats saying something, as witches and fairies are so very lame and amnesia Eric is sooo NOT Eric. Book rant endeth, carry on!
I do like spoilers and then I don’t! I guess it all depends on what I read. I don’t mind him using the spirit of the books but not so much that there is no element of surprise.
Sometimes spoilers are good things, sometimes they can ruin the anticipation. I dunno, last year I think I got spoilered out for a bit. Now though? Bring ‘em on!
